O pretérito perfeito composto e sua interpretação

O principal objetivo deste artigo é entender porque o pretérito perfeito composto do português do Brasil toma somente a interpretação habitual quando aplicado a predicados que denotam eventualidades dinâmicas. Depois de discutir as virtudes e limitações de duas importantes análises, proponho uma terceira, baseada no sistema tríplice de intervalos de tempo proposto por Klein (KLEIN, 1992). A abordagem concebida no artigo fornece, creio, uma resposta melhor para a questão.
