PhD Professor Dr. Christian Lehmann answers in the present interview some questions related to the grammaticalization theory and linguistic research. Regarded as one of the most influent researchers of language theory, he is the author of more than two hundred works, among which, the book Thoughts on grammaticalization (2002). He is also Professor of Compared Linguistics in the University of Erfurt (Germany) and Member of the Permanent International Committee of Linguists.
