Mesclagem conceptual em piadas curtas

Abstract

Neste artigo, buscou-se identificar e analisar os elementos linguísticos que ativam o efeito cômico e constroem cognitivamente o significado em piadas curtas, a partir da Teoria da Mesclagem Conceptual (FAUCONIER & TURNER, 2002) e da noção de Mudança de Frame (COULSON, 2001). Os resultados demonstram que as piadas curtas, especificamente as adivinhas, evocam dois domínios diferentes cujo elemento em comum é a similaridade fonética entre duas construções.
