This study presents reflections developed from the collected data for the doctoral thesis (Mazzelli, 2022) defended in the Programa de Pós-Graduação em Estudos de Linguagem da Universidade Federal Fluminense. It aims to present reflections on the resistance movements of the Pomeranian community in digital spaces based on the studies by Belmar and Glass (2019). The research follows a qualitative and ethnographic approach in digital spaces (Hine, 2015; Barton, 2013 Fragoso, Recuero; Amaral, 2011), more precisely in 33 pages of the social network Facebook linked to the Pomeranian cause. The results indicate that the analyzed Facebook pages can be characterized as “breathing spaces”, as they encourage the use of the Pomeranian language, explicitly and/or implicitly.
