The paper addresses Geodiversity, in order to integrate Geographical Science and School Geography, applied to a primary School in Rio de Janeiro. To reach this target, we considered the rules of the Common Curriculum National Base (BNCC). Furthermore, concepts related to Geodiversity and Geoeducation are also discussed with the students, so that they apply them to the Geoeducation. A Soils Laboratory has been created at Marilia de Dirceu Municipal School, with funding from FAPERJ, in order to take the students to practical classes. A short field trip has been carried out with the students, to teach them to identify different urban landscapes, around their school. Besides soils, during the Project, the students have learnt about rocks, and how to associate them with Rio de Janeiro Geodiversity, demonstrating significant learning from contact with scientific and practical activities.
