Abstract

Having been recently celebrated the thirty-year publication anniversary of the paradigmatic poetic collection Amanhã Amadrugada, by Capeverdian author Vera Duarte, it is established a reading of one of its sections, the third “Caderno”, based on the psychoanalytic theories and facing the concepts of civilization and desire. The context of Cape Verde’s liberation from Portuguese colonization is drawn up as a guiding axis of the assignment. This is a discussion of philosophical and anthropological inspiration, which also lies in the intertextual relation of diverse sorts in the work of investigation of human nature.

Viviane da Silva Vasconcelos, Universidade do Estado do Rio de Janeiro

É Professora Associada de Literatura Portuguesa da Universidade do Estado do Rio de Janeiro (UERJ), atuante na graduação, especialização e pós-graduação. É Mestra e Doutora em Literatura Portuguesa pelo Programa de Pós-Graduação em Estudos de Literatura da Universidade Federal Fluminense (UFF). Possui graduação em Comunicação Social (Jornalismo), Filosofia e Letras (Português/Italiano). Investiga as relações interartísticas da literatura, com especial atenção aos autores Agustina Bessa-Luís e Vergílio Ferreira.
