This text intend to be a experience report about the reorganization of the Classical Ballet Laboratory discipline, in UFPEL Degree Dance Course, to remote mode, during the COVID-19 pandemic. As been an eminently practical discipline, rigorous planning was necessary, involving several aspects to be considered. Classes preparation took place in such a way as not losing the teaching process logic and, in the same time, avoid incorrect understanding of the movements. Video tutorials were created to help with the execution of the steps. The technology to be used during online classes was adjusted and weekly assignments were requested, in video formats. Experience showed that it was possible to resize the offer of a practical subject to the demands of remote context. The desire to find out ways to make it happen was fundamental for us to embrace the challenge of letting go and dealing with the uncertainty of results.
