Social networks are currently a media space that provides, in addition to entertainment, possibilities for expanding ventures by attracting new audiences. To achieve this, several textual strategies are used to glimpse the interlocutor’s communicative intention, but, in a digital context, in addition to the enunciator aiming to sell a product, for example, he also intends to engage his interlocutor in some way with the post, whether by making it like it, comment on it or share it. In this context, this work aims to analyze network social deictics as tools for engaging interlocutors in gender composites on Instagram. To do this, we rely on the theoretical framework of Cavalcante, Custódio Filho and Brito (2014), Cavalcante et al. (2019), Martins (2019) and Cavalcante et al. (2022) with contributions about deictic processes, in Matos (2018) about referential networks and in Muniz-Lima (2022) about interaction in a digital context. The research in question is qualitative and interpretative in nature. Five gender composites from Instagram media of motivational profiles were selected. The analysis made it possible to verify a relationship between the deictics in the network and the levels of interactivity in the construction of meanings, perceptible through the likes and comments of the followers, which showed, in turn, the effective interaction of the interlocutors with the post.
