About the Journal
Our main goal is to publish high-quality scientific research that advances theory and practice in Experimental Design, Data Analysis, and Inferential Statistics. BJEDIS also prioritizes methodological contributions that strengthen evidence-based reasoning and decision-making in complex, uncertainty-rich contexts, while remaining firmly committed to promoting open science, educational inclusion, and ethical research practices across all academic levels.
As an Open Access journal, BJEDIS actively supports free and unrestricted dissemination of knowledge. The journal adopts an inclusive and transparent APC policy designed to accommodate diverse academic and applied research profiles, operating with a progressive model based on the academic qualification of the first author, with full waivers for students in basic education. During the journal’s launch phase, all submissions are exempt from APCs.
BJEDIS encourages transparent, well-documented research workflows and rigorous methodological reporting as part of the peer review process. Submissions must follow the official BJEDIS formatting template, and all metadata—including ORCID, institutional email, funding sources, and keywords—must be provided at the time of submission to ensure traceability, reproducibility, and proper scholarly attribution.
The journal publishes two issues per year and adheres to international editorial standards (COPE, ICMJE, SciELO), ensuring a rigorous, ethical, and efficient publishing workflow capable of supporting both foundational theoretical research and applied studies arising from real-world decision environments.
