Abstract

The influence of Brazilian Modernism in the formatting and construction of recipes and menus is what justifies the making of this article. For this purpose, the “Traço e forma” menu was used, created to be used as a gastronomic experience during the year of celebration of Brasilia’s 60th spring, a city formed on the basis of this modernism. In the same way that the menu appropriates the forms for its generation, it digests from the anthropophagic manifesto the ways of transforming this appropriation into its property, making the city consume itself.
