Abstract

This paper aims to discuss the use of social interviews in research on food and commensality, locating the situations in which this is the best methodological choice. To this end, the methodology adopted is a bibliographical research from which we analyze the particularities of the interview not only as a technique, but as a social relationship from which we can collect research data, in addition to addressing the research needs in the field of food studies that this method meets.
