Arte & Ensaios presents its 50th issue, titled “Art and Sensibilities in Confronting Contemporary Horror.” In the current context of the rise of far-right governments, how should political action be addressed in artistic production?
In times when we witness, somewhat passively, the massacre of civilian populations in the suburbs and ghettos, and even attempts at coups d’état aimed at establishing dictatorial regimes that suppress constitutional rights and guarantees, how can art awaken diverse sensibilities from their lethargy?
